This event serves to underscore FSBA’s role as the voice of education in Florida and enhance FSBA’s advocacy on education issues under consideration by the Florida Legislature. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in legislative briefings and advocacy training, network with education leaders, earn up to 9 leadership development points toward the Advocacy category, and to meet with their respective legislators to discuss legislative issues of interest.
It is important to schedule appointments with legislators as soon as possible. If you have difficulty scheduling appointments, please contact the FSBA Office at (850) 414-2578.
The registration fee(s) include all training materials and meeting room expenses in addition to breakfasts, coffee breaks, scheduled luncheons, and receptions.
The deadline for online registration is March 20, 2017. The member rate is $155, member daily rate is $95, and non-member rate is $295. There is no daily rate for non-members. Late registration is available upon arrival for an additional fee.To cancel attendance, please notify Patricia Peterson by email. For a full refund, cancellations must be made by 5pm on March 22, 2017.
