FSBA and our policy partner, NEOLA, are bringing together experts in the fields of technology and data security to offer a school law and policy seminar that will address many of the legal issues that are challenging school districts today as a result of student and staff using and misusing technology.  This seminar will give participants the information and background needed to address critical technology issues including internet safety for schools, social media policies, archiving electronic communications and public records, and best practices on data security.  All attendees will receive copies of and permission to use Neola’s NEW social media policy, developed with extensive research and input over the last 18 months.
