Happy Monday from Florida’s capital. Meetings begin today at noon and on the docket are several bills covering Impact Fees, vaping, apprenticeships and more.
Senate Education will meet at 1:30 (access the meeting packet HERE), and this afternoon the Senate will also take up bills on sovereign immunity (SB 1302, Flores) in the Community Affairs Committee, and school board term limits (SB 1216, Gruters) in the Ethics & Elections Committee. There is a proposed amendment to bring the bill from 12 years to 8. The Senate Infrastructure & Security Committee will also take up SB 7040 on school safety at 4pm
