SUBJECT: Report of the FSBA Nominating Committee
The FSBA Nominating Committee met on April 20, 2020, to interview applicants for FSBA Executive Officers for 2020-2021. After interviewing all of the qualified candidates for officers of FSBA, the Nominating Committee is proposing the following slate of officers to be presented to the general membership.
The Committee has recommended one name for each of the three eligible positions. As you know, pursuant to the FSBA Bylaws Article V, Section 2, Jane Goodwin, Sarasota County, will become our President, and Tim Weisheyer, Osceola County, will become our Immediate Past President. Those nominated for the remaining offices are as follows:
President-Elect: Christine “Chris” Patricca, Lee County
Vice President: Thomas Kennedy, Citrus County
Treasurer: Wendy Atkinson, Charlotte County
The election of officers would have taken place on June 11, 2020, at the FSBA Annual Summer Conference during our General Membership meeting. Since this conference has been cancelled, we will be making alternate arrangements for our General Membership meeting; details will be shared when they become available.
