MANATEE — After a technical glitch caused statewide outages early Monday, standardized testing started hours later in Manatee County schools. In a conference call with the state Department of Education and Commissioner Pam Stewart, every district across the state was told it had regained access to testing,
“We have confirmed that the login issue has been resolved and students are currently testing,” Stewart said. “We will continue monitoring the situation.” The outage affected tests scheduled Monday morning, according to Mike Barber, Manatee County School District spokesman. “The testing that was planned for this morning had to be rescheduled,” Barber said. “When that is going to be? Not sure yet.”
